It's biking season again! Biking season is very important around our house and it can only mean two things. (1) As soon as you get home you run to change your clothes. Head to the garage to pump up bike tires and get off on your ride as fast as you can so I can't remind you that you really should be doing something else. (2) You run to your room and hide under your bed, fake asleep on the couch, or stay clear of Richard when you know he is in the mood for a bike ride so that you don't become his newest biking buddy! Whatever your opinion is on biking; spring has come and Richard is exciting that he can go for a bike ride and then still have time to hit the slopes for some skiing.
Last Friday we went on a family bike ride. Well at least those that were around and could be convinced that it would be a fun family activity. We even took a cute family picture of us in our biking attire. We rode from the house to the bird refuge, that is 6.5 miles each way. It was good exercise and Addi loved that uncle Parker was willing to pull her in the biking cart behind him. McKenzie unfortunately was not able to go due to the fact that she caught the cold that we all seem to be passing back and forth. Paige also didn't get to go on the bike ride because she likes to stick with option 2, sorry biking just isn't my idea of fun I think I'll run and hide so you can't make me go! Anyways we had a great time with just Richard, Parker, Robyn, Addisyn, and myself. Hopefully we can have an even bigger family ride the next time!!!
