So we are so lucky this summer to have Lucia, from Spain come to stay with us for 3 weeks. She arrived late on Thursday night. 07-09-09. We picked her up at the church around 9:30 and the group of them were very tired. Most had not had any sleep for almost 24 hours.
After we came home and exchanged gifts. Which she and her mom picked out and we all loved. We showed her around the house and where her bedroom would be for the time she is with us and then we were all off to bed.
The next morning we took her to the church to get started in her learning about our country and especially Utah. Their first stop was Classic Fun Center where they climbed the rock wall, roller skated and played games. Oh yea and ate pizza. Kenzie went with them and had a great time.
Friday night we headed up to our ward over nighter which was in North Fork Camp ground.
It was fun and Lucia was able to meet a lot of the girls from the neighborhood. The girls even decided to sleep out under the stars.
Parker and Greg loved it too because there were plenty of girls up at the camp out.
